Dhimmis Disconcerted

http://strata-sphere.com/blog/

A. J. has the goods on the dhimmis today from the speakerette and the murthar right on to the netroots.  Trouble in dhimmiland.

What maroons!  They have the power but are afraid to use it.

Carbon credits: indulgence or commutation fee?

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2007/02/carbon_credits_indulgence_or_c.html

Thomas Lifson at american thinker nails the lefty ecomaniacs square on!  If you are rich, you can pollute all you want and buy your way to respectability.  Amazing isn't it, that the left buys this BS 100% and idolizes the worst offenders as saviors of the universe.

In the immortal words of Col Potter - BULLPUPPY!

The Choice on Iraq - Joe Lieberman

http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110009715

"I appeal to my colleagues in Congress to step back and think carefully about what to do next."

BY JOSEPH LIEBERMAN

Read it all.  The senator has hit a home run.  As I read somewhere, possibly A. J. Strata, why can't the 'W' write like this?

One of the major failings of this administration, probably the largest, has been its inability to communicate with the people of the country on the basic objectives and strategies of 'The Long war' (my phrase).  Now we have a Democrat, who risked his seat in the Senate by understanding what we are about and saying so forcefully, doing the work of the administration.  Shameful 'W', shameful!  Do your own work.  You are the prez, you know.

Appeal for Redress: Astroturfing

http://www.mudvillegazette.com/archives/007574.html

Mudville Gazette has the lowdown on the 'grassroots' 'astroturf birth of the 'Appeal For Redress' website.  What a crock of s**t these guys are.

Whatever their motivation, there are always malingerers in the rear rank thinking that they have all the answers.

The entire thing is orchestrated by the "peace" lovers.

Thank you Greyhawk for the excellent reporting.  Are we not very lucky to have people like this to keep us straight!

al-Qaeda on Sunni violence in Anbar

http://billroggio.com/

Slowly he turned.........

The sunni eventually must wake up and see their truly hopeless military position.  They are effectively between the shia and AQ and pi**ing into the wind against the Americans.

One does not mess with the AQ.  It is their way or the highway.  Loss of the sunni to their cause would be devastating, thus harsh measures to any dissenter.  Listen carefully to my bombs exploding in your midst, says the AQ, and get back on the train, NOW!

I think the AQ is dreaming here, though.  The sunni/bathists/saddamites are facing the hard reality that the Americans are not going away, much to the displeasure of the AQ leqadership by the way, and maybe there is a better way to maintain some power in a new government rather than just be dead insurgents.  Of course they must also face the wrath of the Syrians and the Iraqi insurgent leadership in Syria (money men)if they come over to the other side.

Keep your eye on this situation.  Bill Roggio is a good place to monitor.  Do not expect anything from the MSM that might reflect a glimmer of progress.

A. J. Talks Sense

 http://strata-sphere.com/blog/index.php/archives/3397#more-3397

I love A. J. Strata.  He has his finger on the pulse of the dhimmi congress, TLW (the long war), and, in particular, the bad guys.

He is worth reading every day.

Listen To Omar

 http://iraqthemodel.blogspot.com/2007/02/operation-baghdad-week-ii.html

Mr. Omar has his stuff together.  I trust his reports much more than stuff from green zone dandies.

This operation has a long time to go and much to do.  Judgement is not possible for at least six months in the opinion of the writer.

Murtha Bleeding?

http://decision08.net/2007/02/22/the-death-of-the-murtha-plan/

Interesting that the dhimmi next move is coming from the senate and not the house.  Have the big boys decided it is their turn in the sandbox now that the speakerette and the murthar have made fools of themselves?

Can't wait for the constitutional confrontation and slapdown.

Copy of my e-mail to Susan collins 2/20/07.

She's gotta go folks, she's gotta go!

Dear Senator Collins:

Once more I write to register my intense disapproval of your stance on the Iraq war.

Your attempt to appease the Maine liberal vote while clinging to the pretense of being a Republican is so transparent, it is nauseating.

Congressman Allen smells blood in the water. You will have real and competent opposition in 2008, and to win you must sustain the Republican vote along with the hefty liberal support you and Senator Snowe have relied on in the past. Guess what? Say goodbye to your Republican support. It is evaporating rapidly, and gains speed each time you decide to openly support the enemy with your callous attitude.

I am a registered Republican, and a member of the Victory Caucus, and Iam pledged to your defeat in 2008. I am actively seeking a candidate to oppose you for the Republican nomination in 2008.

Thomas A. O'Reilly

VDH Speaks

 http://victordavishanson.pajamasmedia.com/2007/02/19/more_of_the_same.php

As usual, the man makes perfect sense.  Of course, we will see more of this form of terrorism, but, unfortunately as I believe, we will see much more of organized terrorism within our boundaries.

Expect more, not less, if the dhimmis fail in their assigned mission from AQ to shut down the 'war on terror'.  I think I am beginning to cotton to 'The Long War' [TLW] ILO of the other descriptions.  TLW says much more about the reality of our war with Islam.  It also does not lock us into specific geographic areas.  We should be calling Iraq and Afghanistan 'battles as a part of TLW'.  Eventually, we will have the battle of America.

Our Good Friend & Ally

I wish I could say with certainty that this is a fake, but I can not.  It reeks with the duplicity demonstrated daily by this Iranian stooge that we have tied ourselves to for better or for worse, with worse seemingly the outcome.

Iraqi PM advices Mahdi Army leaders to hide in Iran, leaked letter

2/20/2007 KurdishMedia.com

Muqtada al-Sadir
London (KurdishMedia.com) 20 February 2007: The Iraqi Prime Minister advised the Mahdi Army leaders to hide in Iran, revealed a leaked letter from the office of the prime minister and posted online by the Kurdish website peyamner on Tuesday.

A letter issued by the office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, with the coordination of the Iraqi National Security Advisor, Muwaffaq al-Rabii, advices Muqtada al-Sadir to hide the leaders of his militants, the Mahdi Army, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in case they are “arrested or killed by the American forces”. Al-Maliki, in his letter states, “The current situation requires to keep the leaders of the Mahdi Army, who are affiliated to the organisation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, away from the front line.”

The letter, dated 14 January 2007 and signed by Iraqi Prime Minister, is written after a telephone conversation between Muqtada al-Sadir and the Iraqi Prime Minister. The Iraqi National Security Advisor, Muwaffaq al-Rabii appears to be part of the operation. The letter is classified as confidential, private and immediate.

The letter states the name of 11 leaders of the Mahdi Army who have links with the Islamic Guards and who are advised by the office of the Prime Minister to leave to Iran. They are: Abas al-Kufi, Amir Muhsin Khwja, salim Hussein, Azhar al-Maliki, al-Shiekh Farhan al-Sayidi (Najaf), Fadhil al-Sarii (the adviser of the Prime Minister), Riyadh al-Nuri (Najaf), Ali al-Firtusi, Hayidar al-Araji, Ahmad al-Darraji and Amir al-Sayidi.

The letter is copied to the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad, the leadership of the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) and the office of al-Sadir.
